The forthcoming Broadcast Video Equipment show will feature a full one-day strand entitled Are Brands the New Broadcasters?

This is set to run on Thursday 16 February, and feature a series of seminars dedicated to the increasing number of B2B and B2C brands using video to promote their products and to launch new initiatives – and creating it themselves.

‘Today’s marketing campaigns increasingly involve some element of online activity and video,’ the show advises. ‘Over the past few years, more and more brands have started to set up in-house studios because video plays such an integral part in their marketing campaigns and, as a consequence, have used BVE to source equipment. At the same time, “traditional” marketing agencies are following suit to keep up with client demand.

‘Anyone looking to expand their brands’ reach by using video marketing methods will find plenty of strategic advice and insider tips throughout the day, with companies including Red Bee Media, Fox International, Thinkbox and Upfront A sharing their expertise, led by the session chair David Brooks, Editorial Researcher for BRAD Insight. A visit to the exhibition will also provide practical help with regard to the equipment and infrastructure required for setting up studios, post-production facilities and workflows.’
