Adding Nexo, Yamaha and Sennheiser equipment to its inventory, UK technical production and solutions provider Cue Media is the latest company to take advantage of the zero per cent finance deal currently available through AC Entertainment Technologies (AC-ET) Ltd.

Requiring a compact, versatile and digital set-up able to cover different types and scale of event – from conferences to rock and pop bands and theatre-style cabaret – Cue Media saw AC-ET’s Audio division’s offer as the best route. With Nexo’s PS-R2 Series speakers and a second 32-channel Yamaha LS9 digital mixing console chosen for its diverse rosta of events and shows, the package also included four sets of Nexo PS10-R2 speaker cabinets and two Nexo powered digital TD controllers.

‘Nexo and Yamaha products incorporate EtherSound, which permits the synching of audio channels and control data over a single Ethernet connection,’ says of AC Audio’s Stuart Moots. ‘Ultimately, this means that Cue Media can use a digital audio distribution network, allowing it to incorporate EtherSound-compatible products from various brands.’

Cue Media MD Chris Perkins originally enquired about the equipment at one of AC Audio’s digital switchover events. When he received a follow-up newsletter detailing the zero per cent finance offers, he jumped at the opportunity. Within ten days of contacting AC Audio, all of the finance paperwork had been processed and the equipment was handed over.

‘Zero per cent finance over two years was an opportunity I simply could not refuse,’ he says. ‘AC Audio was extremely professional on all levels and a pleasure to deal with as always’ he comments.

The recent purchase adds to Cue Media’s already extensive stock of Nexo and Yamaha equipment. The new Nexo system went straight out on a corporate job at Birmingham Metropole Hotel, and has already been booked solidly until the end of 2012 for a diversity of projects that will take it to The Netherlands, Spain and Germany.
