In preparation for its forthcoming operations, Australia’s Global Television has added 18 Bel Digital BM-A1-16SHD audio confidence monitors to its equipmwent stock.
‘Our very busy schedule for 2014 required us to increase the number of confidence monitors in our fleet,’ confirms Global Television Technical Service Manager, Milan Milenkovic. ‘PAT offered us outstanding technology with very short delivery times and was able to meet our budget with the BM-A1-16SHD monitors from Bel Digital.’
The BM-A1-16SHD is a high-quality audio monitor with two SDI, four AES pairs (BNC) and analogue audio inputs that automatically detect SD, HD or 3G video and de-multiplex all 16 audio channels. An active loop-through output is available for the selected SDI input. Furthermore, the unit provides eight high-resolution, tri-colour bargraphs that can be toggled across two banks. All 16 audio channels can be selected or mixed and directed to each loudspeaker. Channels 1-8 are also available as four AES (BNC) outputs and analogue outputs with a front panel volume control.
The units will be used at various international events throughout the year, and also locally in Australia.
