Giving up its September spot in the Asia show schedule, Palme Thailand 2014 has been cancelled. The event was to be help concurrently with Install Thailand, Broadcast & MediaTech Thailand and Music Thailand.

‘We regret to inform that due to the prolonged political unrest in Thailand, the event will not now take place,’ confirmed Singapore-based organiser, Informa Exhibitions. ‘The prolonged political uncertainties in Thailand have affected the business environment and, in order to protect the safety and monetary investments of our partners, exhibitors and visitors, we have decided to postpone the event indefinitely.

‘For those who have already signed up for the event, we will arrange to refund any payments made. We will contact you shortly to furnish the paperwork.’
