AL Tamez For Projects (Qatar) has acquired a Shure Axient wireless microphone system from regional distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK) to address interference issues encountered during the 2016 Qatar ExxonMobil Open tennis tournament.
Established earlier in 2016, as part of the Al Ansari Group of Companies, AL Tamez For Projects had previously used an Axient system at Al Sadd Sports Club: ‘Frequency stability, interference issues and reliability were some of the factors we considered while selecting the wireless microphone system for the event,’ say Administration Head Shiju John and Project Administrator Skariya KC. ‘It is crucial that we do not face any frequency interference issues for the wireless microphones during the events.
‘With a capacity of 7,000 visitors at the tennis court during the event and various frequency broadcasters’ equipment, we needed a wireless system of high audio quality to avoid the frequency interference. Axient ensures us stability across RF operations with frequency diversity, interference detection and avoidance. The frequency avoidance feature has brought wireless microphone systems to a higher level and we are pleased to be one of the first users of Shure Axient in Qatar.
‘We are very satisfied with the service including the assistance, immediate response and material delivery provided by NMK. We have also received a positive feedback from our client for the support we are providing during crucial scenarios,’ Al Tamez For Projects Team added.
