Specialist loudspeaker manufacturer Augspurger Monitors (part of the PAD Group of companies) has launched the SXE-4D amplifier, providing four channels of 800Wrms (4Ω), more than enough power to drive many of its smaller systems – from the Minimax Series to the Solo or Duo Series models.
Using the same topology as found in the established SXE-3D, the SXE-4D features 120dB of dynamic range, ultra-low IM distortion and THD+N, and audiophile quality 96kHz, 24-bit ADC/DAC with very low 0.06ms latency.
The SXE-4D is well suited to use in immersive environments such as Dolby Atmos due to DSPtune and SXE Series network capability.
The Augspurger Monitors SXE-4D is available now, at US$4,995.
