Innosonix has launched its Micro Maxx µMA04/POE PoE Amplifier, claiming it to redefine Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology for multi-zone audio, retrofitting projects, or installations in remote or unconventional spaces.
A compact, energy-efficient and versatile PoE amplifier, this four-channel Micro Maxx µMA04/POE PoE Amplifier delivers 120W/channel at 4Ω, with the option to bridge two channels for 240W at 8Ω. Designed for modern audio installations, it simplifies PoE technology deployment, allowing users to supply power, audio and data through a single Ethernet connection.
The unit features built-in DSP, with 32-point EQ, FIR filters, independent limiting, and Auto Standby Mode. Its AoIP implementation enables users to select a preferred protocol, including Dante.
Leveraging PoE ++ (IEEE 802.3bt), the amplifier optimises power usage while reducing environmental impact. Its slim and elegant design simplifies installation, requiring a single RJ45 connection. Paired with Innosonix’s Maxx Remote software, users have remote configuration, monitoring and diagnostics available.
Built to evolve with Ethernet standards and audio protocols, µMA04/POE promises a long-lasting and adaptable investment for both integrators and end-users.
The µMA04/POE is sufficiently versatile to suit environment spanning residential multi-room audio systems and large-scale commercial projects. Whether installed in retail spaces, outdoor venues or modern office set-ups, it offers flexibility and high sound quality without the constraints of traditional cabling.
