Offering improved control and feature s over earlier models design, XTi 2 Series offers a suite of speaker processing tools to eliminate the need for external crossovers, limiters and EQs.
The XTi 2’s PeakX Plus limiters are derived from those found in I-Tech HD and XLS DriveCore Series amplifiers and allow control of threshold, attack and release times. A new subharmonic synthesiser offers accurate control over which frequencies are targeted and can be tailored for a specific system or room set-up.
Advanced Thermal Control allows the fan performance to be set to meet a specific application. XTi 2 also increases the amount of presets that can be saved and recalled from 20 to 30. Enhancing power management, a new status section monitors power supply temperature and AC line voltage making troubleshooting easier.
‘Crown’s proven reputation in the portable sound market for building amplifiers that provide the highest level of value and performance is unparalled,’ says Marketing Manager, Andy Flint. ‘The XTi 2 series pushes the industry threshold and redefines the feature set that users can and should come to expect from portable PA amplifiers.
XTi 2 amplifiers are fully compatible with HiQnet Band Manager software. The free-of-charge application provides a sleek redesigned function-driven interface, which has been re-skinned to simplify system setup and management while enabling audio professionals, musicians, and engineers to configure and control a rack of Crown XTi and now XTi 2 series amplifiers.
