RCF’s DPS 604X 4-channel class-D power amplifier is amined at applications including bars/restaurants, retail outlets and houses of worship.

RCF DPS 604XThe amplifier offers four inputs and four outputs that can be combined in a variety of configurations. A DIP switch on the rear panel allows the selection of one of eight operational modes, allowing it to be readily adapted to a specific application. 

Power output is up to 4x 230W RMS (@2Ω), and the unit offers two variable high-pass filters (Channels A and B) and a variable low-pass filter for subwoofers, with cutoff frequencies in the range of 50Hz to 250Hz. The audio wiring is fast and easy using Euroblock terminals. Full protection measures cover short circuit, open circuit, thermal drift, ultrasonic, RF protection, reactive or mismatched loads and the use of internal fuses.

Depending on the installation, the DPS 604X can be configured in eight operational modes using the DIP switch. Four independent channels linked directly to the four inputs are the standard functioning mode, but it is possible to select seven combinations with and without crossover, with linked, bridged channels and an active configurable crossover with two independent high-pass filters and a single low-pass for the subwoofer.
