Roland’s Professional A/V Division has announced the VR-400UHD 4K Streaming AV Mixer, ‘an easy-to-use, powerful 4K switcher that gives anyone the power to run a successful live event’.
Two touchscreens allow various scene presets to be quickly set and previewedin real-time, such that users can run transitions knowing precisely what viewers will see in every instance. The VR-400UHD can preview eight scenes at once on the touchscreen, and with eight programmable scene banks, and hold up to 64 possible saved scenes, providing churches, companies and schools with the presets necessary for production.
Sporting seven HDMI ports, the VR-400UHD supports high-quality video up to 4K/60p with four crosspoints. The fourth crosspoint has four HDMI inputs, so additional sources can be connected and instantly assigned with a scene switch. It also includes a 14-channel audio mixer for combining analogue inputs with embedded digital audio. The USB-C port outputs up to 4K/30p video with audio to a PC for high-end 4K livestreaming of the event from a venue.
The Roland VR-400UHD 4K Streaming AV Mixer will be available in July in the US for US$7,495.
