Florida-based in-ear monitor systems specialist Clear Tune Monitors has added the Orun Series to its headphones product line-up. Designed for ‘the ultimate level of awareness and comfort without compromising on sound’.
Orun Series are wireless, open ear sport-style headphones that use Bone Conduction Audio Technology. The Orun1 and Orun2 models use transducers that convert audio data to vibrations which travel along the user’s cheekbone to the inner ear. Since the headphones emit vibrations to the inner ear, and because the ear is not covered or closed off the user can safely move about in his or her environment while hearing external noises.
The lightweight, wraparound titanium frame keeps the headphones stable and in place during use. The Orun1 is IPX6 water resistant and provides up to five-and-a-half hours of use on a single charge. The slightly larger frame Orun2 has a water resistance rating of IPX7 and gets up to eight hours of use. Both Orun Series products operate on the Bluetooth 5.0 frequency band to ensure fast and reliable performance.
‘We are very excited about adding the open-ear concept to our line of lifestyle products and to introduce the CTM family to a different way of enjoying music,’ says Clear Tune Monitors E-Commerce Manager Alejandro Lotero, who has been part of the product launch team.
The Orun1 has a retail price of US$99 and Orun2 is US$119. Both models can be purchased through authorised CTM dealers, Amazon and via the Clear Tune Monitors website.
