Shure Incorporated has released its first full line of broadcast headsets designed specifically for broadcast and media production applications – the BRH31M, BRH440M and BRH441M models,
The BRH31M is a single-sided lightweight headset for interchangeable wear on the left or right side It uses a closed-back, supra-aural, ultra-lightweight design. Key features include: an adjustable headband with a cushioned temple pad that provides a comfortable, ergonomic fit; a user-replaceable ear pad and windscreen for extended product life; and single-side, fixed cable with unterminated end (bare whip), that is reinforced with Kevlar for connection to a variety of devices.
The BRH440M is a dual-sided headset using a closed-back, circumaural design for high sound isolation from background noise. Features include: an ergonomic, adjustable headband with premium padding and optimal coupling force for long wearing comfort; a single-side, detachable cable with unterminated end (bare whip); a flip-up mute function that deactivates the boom microphone when raised vertically away from the mouth; and user-replaceable cable, ear pads and windscreen.
The BRH441M is a single-sided headset for wear on the left or right side. This also offers high sound isolation while keeping one ear open to the surrounding environment. Features include: an ergonomic, adjustable headband with premium padding and cushioned temple pad; aflip-up mute function; a single-side, detachable cable with unterminated ends (bare whip); and user-replaceable cable, ear pads, windscreen, and temple pad.
All headsets in the line feature a dynamic, cardioid microphone that claims natural, highly intelligible vocal reproduction, and frequency response optimised for communication in loud environments. Additionally, a flexible boom microphone pivots 270° for left or right side wear and precise positioning.
