Yamaha has added the HPH-MT7 to its MT Series of studio monitor headphones for professional studio and monitoring applications.
Available in black or white finish, the closed-back (circumaural) HPH-MT7 headphones deliver superb fit and isolation with a level of comfort that ensures long hours in a critical listening environment aren’t too arduous. Featuring 40mm custom drivers equipped with CCAW voice coils and powerful neodymium magnets, they offer an even 15Hz-25kHz response and precise stereo imaging at any level.
A three-dimensional arm pivot construction and highly adjustable slider length allows the angle of the large, comfortable ear pads to fit the shape of the wearer’s head, helping to alleviate fatigue when working for extended periods, while moveable ear cups allow single-ear monitoring when required. HPH-MT7 headphones are also designed to withstand the rigours of road travel. The solid ABS housing, die-cast aluminium support-arms, and sweat-resistant headband ensure that they are able to endure extended use in any working environment.
Another design element ensures that users are not hindered by the cable, yet provides enough length for monitoring applications where mobility is a consideration. The straight, lightweight 3m-long cable is equipped with a corrosion-resistant, gold-plated stereo mini-plug and a gold-plated 6.3mm stereo adaptor, allowing HPH-MT7 headphones to be used with both professional audio gear and portable audio players.
