The latest microphone stand from König & Meyer features internal cabling for analogue and digital signal transport using Klotz OT1000 OmniTrans cable.
The stand’s flexibly adjustable gooseneck enables alignment of the microphone to the sound source. The connection between gooseneck and microphone stand is fixed precisely with the supplied sleeve over the XLR connectors. This sleeve, for which Klotz ais has applied for utility model protection, firmly encloses two XLR connectors, preventing loose contact during live operation. The push lock on the XLR can be easily operated at any time and the gooseneck can be removed effortlessly.
The infinitely adjustable three-leg base with rubberised ends and the appropriate weight ensure a secure stand. The compact footprint is ideal for using several stands next to each other, for example in an orchestra.
The high-quality AES/EBU cable is drawn in by hand at the Klotz factory in Vilchband/Wittighausen and is assembled with robust 3p XLR metal connectors by Klotz and Neutrik.
Key specs:
For ease of transport, the robust full metal feet can be folded away. In addition, the overall length of the stand can be reduced to a compact size by loosening the clamping screw on the stand base.
