Renkus-Hein Iconyx Compact Series 12/3-RNRenkus-Heinz has introduced the Iconyx Compact Series 12/3-RN single array module, promising the flexibility of the company’s Iconyx beam-steered line array technology in a smaller footprint array for integrators seeking integration options in the ‘medium-sized’ installations common to house of worship, corporate, transportation, education, and government markets.

‘The ICC12/3 is a natural progression of the cutting-edge offerings we’ve released over the past year,’ says President of Renkus-Heinz, Matt Czyzewski. ‘It provides a digitally steerable offering in an incredibly compact footprint, allowing for sensational sound in even more locations. We worked with our integration partners and distributors on what they believed they needed to win more jobs and to put sound exactly where they want it. The ICC12/3 is the result of that collaborative work.’

The Iconyx Compact Series brings performance and directivity to spaces where established Iconyx arrays may be too large. The very narrow ICC12/3 cabinet is suited to use in into almost any venue with vertical directivity to help tame challenging acoustics. An all-new, twelve-channel digital amplifier powers 12, 3-inch/7.7mm full-range, high sensitivity, treated paper cone drivers. With an amplifier and DSP channel for each driver, the flexibility of Iconyx is now available in a package nearly 40 per cent smaller than the classic Iconyx.

The ICC12/3 is available in white and black standard finishes, with custom colour matching an optional service. Standard -RN units are equipped with analogue and AES inputs, while -RD1 units support Dante networked audio.

The ICC12/3 retains performance synonymous with Renkus-Heinz – full Rhaon II beam-steering with the latest U.R.G.O beam algorithms, a movable acoustic centre, multiple beam opening angles and high-pass filtering of individual beams.

The included wallmount bracket makes mounting straightforward, and is nearly completely obscured behind the arrays. Standard RN units have analogue and AES inputs.

The ICC12/3 is shipping immediately, from Renkus-Heinz’ headquarters in California.
