Quest Engineering has announced two new products for the commercial audio space – the agile and QX-300A series amplifier and MX4C high-fidelity ceiling monitor.
Based around a custom die-cast housing with integrated hybrid thermal dissipation technology, the QX-300A series amplifier is a robust two-channel 150W power amplifier. Featuring UMAC class-D amplifier technology in a compact form factor, the QX-300A reckons to deliver ‘audiophile-grade specifications for its weight and size’.
Suited to Pro Audio and A/V applications, the QX-300A claims the highest dynamic range and lowest distortion performance of any comparable pro audio amplifier currently on the market. The QX-300A’s form factor suits it to a range of rackmount combination configurations, including up to three units in a 1U-high configuration, or up to ten units in a 3U-high configuration.
The MX4C is a compact ceiling loudspeaker solution, featuring a high-fidelity 4-inch two-way system. The design uses a custom fabricated die-cast aluminium woofer and uniquely designed titanium dome tweeter. The MX4C features 70/100V/16Ω operation along with HF attenuation, all conveniently accessible on the front baffle, beneath the included magnetic fast-fit grille.
Available as standard in white (RAL9003) and black (RAL9005), the MX4C’s housing is constructed of an ABS fire rated baffle and an aluminium back can, resulting in a highly efficient speaker with excellent heat dissipation. With a sonic signature in line with the rest of the MX series, the MX4C provides integrators with a clean, modern aesthetic, easy installation and high-performance sound.
Both the QX-300A and MX4C are available now for immediate shipping.
