JBL Professional’s COL Series slim column loudspeakers are now available in two models – the COL600 (600mm) and COL800 (800mm).
Featuring wide horizontal and narrow vertical coverage with a built-in 10° down-tilt to the aim, COL Series loudspeakers promise optimum coverage for most listening areas and can be installed flat to the wall. Racetrack woofers provide maximum radiating area in a column form factor. Multi-tap transformers allow for use on either 70V or 100V distributed speaker lines, while the speaker is switchable for direct 8Ω operation.
The COL Series models are intended for a variety of applications, including conference and meeting rooms, lecture halls, retail stores, concourses, public transport spaces and fill applications.
Available in black and white, versatile installation is accommodated by two included brackets. A low-profile pan-and- tilt bracket provides a further 10° down-tilt (in addition to the built-in 10° down-tilt aim), and a pair L-brackets for flat-to-the-wall installation. The COL Series can be installed indoors or outdoors owing to their IP54 rating for protection against ingress of dust or water. The drivers are water-treated, the grille has a water-backing, and a cover is included to protect the input terminals.
