Designed to serve theatre, house of worship, live music, nightclubs, conference and TV studio installationapplications, the Axys Flex G2 range of includes the Flex U-12G2, U-14G2 and UFM-265 loudspeakers

In theatres, this can cover front fill, under-balcony fill, surround and monitors whilst in the AV/corporate world they are aimed at boardrooms/presentation audio as well as BGM in small bars and clubs. The manufacturer claims that its Total Transparency philosophy means that the U-12, U-14 and UFM-265 ‘sound more like a touring ready studio monitors than a contractor product’.

The U-12, U-14 and UFM-265 are active models with DSP that makes them network ready, so that they can be easily controlled and configured via an RS485 network from the Axys WinControl software. The U-12 uses of a 6.5-inch driver and a soft dome tweeter, while the U-14 and UFM-265 has an additional 6.5-inch driver.

WinControl offers: control of the DSP features (which include delay, gain and eight-band parametric EQ), choice of downloadable settings for different applications, eight presets providing factory-defined and user-configurable options including lock/password preset protection, advanced digital limiting, surveillance functionality ( load monitoring and fault detection; real-time input and output level monitoring) and grouping of loudspeakers to simultaneously control delay, gain and EQ.

When a lower frequency response  or more headroom at low frequency is required from the system the units can be used in combination with any of the Axys range of Beam Shaping Subwoofers.
