Marking its 40th anniversary, French loudspeaker manufacturer Focal has released a series of commemorative products including the Solo6 Be 40th version of its studio monitor dressed in a black finish and stamped as a special edition.
Solo6 Be is a two-way monitor that plays on its small size and extended frequency response. Beneath this new finish is a Beryllium inverted dome tweeter, capable of reproducing high frequencies with a high degree of fidelity and transparency, and a bass/mid driver composed of a W-composite sandwich cone. Finally, the bass/mid power stage in Solo6 Be 40th is fine-tuned using BASH technology, which delivers class-AB sound quality combined with the efficiency of class-D amplifiers.
