Ocean Way Audio has launched its S15A Subwoofer, designed by Allen Sides for recording and mixing applications, and suited to a range of listening environments where low-end power and definition are key.

Loaded with a single 15-inch driver capable of handling up to 3.4kW, the S15A’s onboard 1.2kW amplifier has a frequency range of 28Hz to 120Hz, and is capable of a maximum 128dB SPL.

On the rear panel, in addition to its stereo balanced XLR inputs and outputs, the subwoofer has controls including gain, low frequency adjustments, crossover for delay for optimisation in almost any audio environment. A trigger input/output is also included in the design to maximise power conservation and other applications.
