Tascam VL-S3BT Tascam’s VL-S3BT has added Bluetooth to the company’s most affordable compact studio monitors, targeting project studio and video editing applications

The two-way powered monitors use a 3-inch woofer and rear ported design. A pair of RCA inputs accepts any line-level input (stereo jack/RCA cable included). The added Bluetooth feature allows playback from smartphone or tablet from anywhere in a room, without the need to plug in cables. Both aptX and AAC codecs are included for the best possible audio quality, and one-touch pairing makes set-up simple. A stereo mini jack is also available for plugging in MP3 players and other devices. An efficient 14W per side stereo power amplifier drives the two monitors.
