HK Audio’s CX 210 LT is a long-throw point-source loudspeaker employing a large horn with MCT (Multicell Transformer), which can be rotated for array operation, offers precise dispersion alongside even and defined coverage and helps to reduce listening fatigue. It can be flown as a single unit or with up to four cabinets in a horizontal array at any angle.
Filter presets for Lab.Gruppen and Powersoft offer acoustically ideal tuning of the loudspeakers for clusters of one to four or in combination with Contour or Cosmo systems.
A further advantage for the Contour X, Cosmo and C-Sub families is the Concert Sound 2.0 filter sets, which bring a revised sound signature, optimised user-friendliness and perfected system coherence. This helps engineers to create an ‘impressive, extended sound signature, so HK Audio systems now sound fuller, bigger and more confident’. Low-mid beam steering using all-pass filters ensures that all frequencies are distributed evenly throughout the entire audience area. This minimizes areas with suboptimal sound and maximises the sound experience for the entire audience.
The new filters have been thoroughly tested under live conditions and are now available for Lake and Armonía processors. Existing systems can be updated to Concert Sound 2.0 to take advantage of the new features. Updated Ease files are also available to further facilitate planning and implementation.
