Microtech Gefell has released the M1030 – a large-diaphragm condenser studio microphone offering a cardioid pick-up pattern.
Intended applications for the mew mic include vocalists, announcers, dialogue pick-up and as spot miking for guitars, keyboard, percussion, wind and string instruments
The M1030 has a dynamic range up to 142dB and a low noise floor of 7dB(A), and the capsule provides a smooth frequency response with a slight presence boost in the 8kHz to 14kHz range. A green LED has been added as a new feature to Microtch-Gefell – this is located inside the grille and operates as an optical-ready indicator.
