Solid State Logic has announced that its UF8 and UC1 controllers now support Merging Technologies’ Pyramix and Universal Audio’s Luna DAW platforms. New profiles for both (and other updates) are included in the latest SSL 360° software ecosystem update (v1.4) as well as significant new additions to software bundles, including a six-month subscription to SSL Complete.
SSL 360° v1.4 is the latest in a series of updates to SSL’s software ecosystem bringing additions and enhancements based on feedback from user groups, including Follow selected DAW track, DAW Solo/Mute integration for 4K B and Channel Strip 2 plug-ins in several DAWs, UC1 Bus Compressor Meter calibration, as well as new Compressor Mix, Width and Pan controls in Channel Strip 2 Plug-in and much more.
The update enables users to access the new Merging Technologies Pyramix and Universal Audio Luna profiles for UF8; follow selected DAW track, DAW Solo and Mute integration in PreSonus Studio One and Cockos Reaper for 4K B and Channel Strip 2 plug-ins; and to control the Plug-in Mixer Transport from a computer keyboard.
Additionally, it grants access the UC1 Bus Compressor Meter calibration tool on the SSL 360° Home page and to a redesigned SSL 360° Plug-in Mixer GUI, and enables use of new Pan, Width, Compressor Mix and HQ Mode (oversampling) on the Channel Strip 2 plug-in. SSL 360° v1.4 and associated plug-ins are fully M1/ARM native.
