Waves Audio has announced a new version of the eMotion LV1 Live Mixer, adding compatibility with the new MixMirror app, and full iOS tablet remote control for the eMotion LV1 and Waves SuperRack.
In addition to MixMirror control, Waves’ update for the eMotion LV1 Live Mixer incorporates extended gain mapping options for Waves’ FIT Controller for eMotion LV1 and Waves MyFOH apps, a new mix bus input fader mode; updated menus for improved touch usability, and various bug fixes across all applications.
With Waves’ MixMirror (iPad and Windows only), FOH engineers can now control plug-ins from any location within a venue. MixMirror efficiently mirrors and optimises the mixer window from either the eMotion LV1 or SuperRack (compatible with both SoundGrid and Performer) onto a tablet.
The application has been tailored for the most practical and functional mixing experience possible. Users can now walk around the venue with full console and plug-in functionality, allowing adjustment of EQ moves, remote room issue solutions, and FX level adjustment from anywhere in the room.
Key features:
- Control of eMotion LV1 mixer and SuperRack.
- Remote control for all plug-ins in a live mix.
- Compatible with iPad tablet devices.
- Remote solution of room and feedback problems.
- Adjustment of set-up and configuration.
The LV1 boasts up to 64 stereo channels of unmatched audio quality, with full plug-in integration and complete customisability for any workflow. LV1 can share up to 16 I/O devices and connect to multiple DSP servers for unlimited mixing power, all with flexible control, both tactile (up to 32+2 faders) and touch-based.
