Tascam has released the DP-24SD 24-track digital Portastudio.
The latest model in Tascam’s long line of Portastudios, the DP-24SD offers eight XLR mic inputs with phantom power and each input allows compression and limiting during recording. Operation is via a colour LCD and channel control strip, and recordings are stored on economical and expandable SD Cards.
Built into the DP-24SD are three types of audio effect. Up to eight dynamics effects can be routed to any or all inputs during recording. A multieffects processor includes amplifier simulation, delay and chorus, and there is adjustable reverb available on send and return.
