Powersoft has released the Snapshot Selector mobile app allowing instant recall of a full slate of saved settings for X Series amplifier platforms.
Used by connecting a phone to the amplifier with a USB cable, the free Android app allows saving and recall of an exact snapshot of all settings on the amplifier, including routing, equalisation and limiting, at any time. It app also allows users to select the source priority that will be applied after the snapshot has been recalled.
Once installed, the app launches automatically when connected to any X Series amplifier platform via USB.
Snapshot Selector allows configuration of complete racks and systems without connecting a computer, as long as the snapshots for the loudspeakers are already stored in the amplifiers. This enablesr rental amplifier providers and users to apply application-relevant settings quickly to an amp before it leaves the warehouse.
