Antares Audio Technologies has announced Auto-Tune Hybrid, a new edition of Auto-Tune exclusively for use with Avid Pro Tools platforms where Avid’s DSP-based hardware gives greater processing power.
Hybrid also works on native systems when Pro Tools users aren’t using DSP-based hardware. This makes Hybrid perfect for everything from mixing on a laptop to using Auto-Tune in real time in both the studio and live performance.
‘Auto-Tune Hybrid is designed to make the most of Avid’s hardware and boost performance in key moments, whether it’s laying down tracks or perfecting a performance in real time,’ says Antares CEO, Steve Berkley. ‘Combining our technology so seamlessly gives music-makers the professional tools they need to be successful in their musical endeavours.’
Compatibility and features:
- Basic and Advanced real-time pitch correction.
- Midi control of pitch and other parameters.
- Classic mode for Auto-Tune 5 sound.
- Compatible exclusively with Pro Tools software.
- Compatible with Avid DSP hardware.
- Compatible with Auto-Key: Key Detection Plug-in.
- Optimised for low-latency tracking on Avid DSP hardware, including Carbon, HDX and Venue S6L.
