Newfangled Audio has released Invigorate, a bus compressor it claims to be ‘like no other’.
According to its maker, ‘Invigorate can smoothly morph from compression through limiting to overdrive, making it fast and easy to mix in just the right amount of character and make your mixes, buses, and tracks sound huge.’
Invigorate’s user interface features a radar display and intelligent gain compensation engine designed to make it easy to hear and see exactly what is happening to the audio. Three tone controls – Sensitivity, Input Exciter and Output Tone – give extensive control over the tone of the compressed signal.
