Waves Audio has announced SuperRack Performer, a live-sound plug-in host running natively on Mac and PC that enables studio sounds to be recreated live using Waves plug-ins – set-ups of any size and any budget.
SuperRack Performer supports running of Waves plug-ins on a Mac or PC connected to the mixing desk, with no extra hardware required. I offers a ‘natural extension’ of any mixing console, digital or analogue, optimised for simple set up and connectivity, and streamlined for live show use with efficient loading, routing, plug-in control, quick keys, Midi-use and snapshot recall.
Plug-ins of choice can be used for vocal tuning and FX, tight and punchy drums, instant feedback elimination, even a favourite analogue-modelled chain on the mix bus. Likewise, musicians can now take control of their show, with no need to compromise on their live set-up.
Key features:
- Native Waves plug-in host for live performance.
- Recreate studio sound on stage.
- USB sync with digital consoles.
- App optimised and streamlined for live show use.
- Remote recall of snapshots with Waves mRecall app.
- Solve room problems with plug-ins.
