G-Sonique’s Dubshox H8 is unique VST effect combining various processors for heavy music styles including dubstep, ebm, psytrance and experimental/minimal techno/hard techno. Its manufacturer reckong it is best used in combination with huge baselines and dubstep synths.
Dubshox H8 combines multiband distortion and wavashaping with more than 40 types of distortion and sound shapers, from analogue, transistor diode or vacuum tube to digital waveshapers. Every individual band has control over drive (amount of distortion) and output level to allow heavy distortion to be added without ‘sounding too loud’.
Additionally, a futuristic/post apocalyptic character can be added using the Neurofunk unit – aimed mainly at dark styles of drum and bass.
