Slate Digital has released Virtual Mix Rack 3.0, the latest evolution of its virtual analogue channel strip software.
Virtual Mix Rack 3.0 is an all-in-one hub of authentic digital recreations of classic analogue compressors, equalisers, exciters and saturators. Featuring nearly 40 modules (and counting), VMR has garnered widespread critical acclaim and a reputation as an essential tool in many recording studios.
VMR 3.0 builds on the strengths of its predecessor by adding a number of user-requested features that allow creators to design and implement custom signal processing chains with greater ease and control than before.
Key features:
- Browse purpose-built channel strips for instrument or genres.
- New presets continually added.
- Automate multiple parameters simultaneously with Macro controls.
- Sidechain Input for control processing from external channel, independent of main audio.
- Seamless gain-staging between modules to maximise S/N and minimise distortion.
- Customisable the user interface.
‘VMR 3.0 reflects Slate Digital’s commitment to providing tools that amplify the artistry and productivity of creators,’ says Slate Digital CEO, John Bastianelli. ‘This new release not only incorporates features that producers have asked for but also introduces new ways to work faster and with more control over each plug-in within the processor chain.’
VMR 3.0 is available now, and is offered as a free update for subscribers to the All Access Pass and Complete Access Bundle. Perpetual licences for individual VMR modules are also available for purchase.
