Vertigo Sound VSM-3/VSC-2 plug-ins

Universal Audio UAD Software v7.11 includes the Vertigo Sound VSM-3 Mix Satellite and Vertigo Sound VSC-2 Compressor plug-ins for UAD’s Powered Plug-Ins platform and Apollo audio interfaces.

Developed by Brainworx, the Vertigo Sound VSM-3 Mix Satellite Plug-In is an emulation of the Vertigo Sound VSM-2, used by mixing and mastering engineers for its saturation. The VSM-3 offers controls for targeted harmonic generation, as well as plug-in-only features such as the THD Mixer’s Harmonic Balance control and the ability to run the unit’s two harmonic generators simultaneously – in parallel or series – giving more flexibility than the original hardware.

Key features:

· Two colouration generators recreated from Vertigo VSM-2 hardware.

· Second Harmonic FET Crusher.

· Third Harmonic Zener Blender.

· Crusher and Blender can each be applied to specific signal frequency ranges.

· M/S decoding/encoding for each circuit allows stereo signal processing, or Mid or Side channel processing.

Vertigo VSC-2 The Vertigo Sound VSC-2 Quad Discrete VCA Compressor was Vertigo Sound’s first development, combining vintage sonics and current design. Developed by Brainworx, the Vertigo Sound VSC-2 Compressor Plug-In for UAD-2 and Apollo interfaces, the model covers the unit’s four hand-built discrete VCAs.
