TC Electronic LM6 RadarLaunched at the recent AES Convention in New York City, the TC Electronic LM6 Radar Loudness Meter offers an alternative metering option to audio production for broadcast, film and music to peak level indicators tforo loudness-based metering.

The LM6 gives direct access to this TC’s Radar meter when using Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Wavelab or Sequoia on a Mac or PC. It supports mono, stereo or 5.1 production.

The user interface of the LM6 plug-in is similar to TC Radar meters for other platforms, –such as LM5D for Pro Tools HD – and shows loudness history in a single radar-like view. Each revolution of the radar can span from 1 minute to 24 hours. Further, loudness history and other key information can be logged as a standard formatted text file that.

The LM6 uses a fully synchronous, high-headroom design in order to also display true-peak warnings and true-peak bar graphs correctly; and it conforms with all of the major broadcast standards such as ITU BS.1770-2, ATSC A/85 and EBU R128.

Avid’s Pro Tools 10: AAX (Avid Audio eXtension) a plug-in format is supported.

LM6 Radar Loudness Meter is comes in RTAS and VST formats. No additional hardware such as Pro Tools TDM or PowerCore is needed – only an iLok 2 USB Key for holding the plug-in license.
