AFMG has announced an update to its real-time audio analysis software, SysTune v1.2.
In addition to being free to existing users, AFMG has changed prices and licensing to make SysTune more affordable to a larger group of users. And to mark the release, AFMG has launched a dedicated SysTune Facebook page with a lottery to run in May and June 2012.
In the past, SysTune has been sold in dual licenses. With the release of SysTune v1.2, AFMG allows users to purchase a single licence, as well offering a ten per cent discount on any two licences, even of different programs purchased simultaneously.
One of the new plug-ins is called Delay Analysis – from a set of captured individual measurements, SysTune automatically calculates optimal delay times between mains and subs or between main and delay loudspeakers, giving precise information on polarity and predicted overall system performance. ‘Never before has it been easier to solve the polarity question and find the correct delay time for your system,’ says AFMG MD, Stefan Feistel. ‘You can save about 70 per cent of time on measurements by one quick calculation using nethew Delay Analysis plug-in.’
SysTune´s new web interface allows any mobile device with a modern browser can be used to remotely monitor and control live measurements from anywhere with Wi-Fi access. It is now possible to walk through a hall, microphone in one hand, phone in the other and gather all necessary measurements without recourse to the host computer.
Released five months ago, the Aubion X.8 high-end 8-channel measurement also benefits from the release of SysTune v1.2. Among the new features, gain compensation allows users to make gain adjustments without losing calibration.
Pricing is as follows: SysTune 1.2 Single Licence €400 (US$ 525); SysTune Pro 1.2 Single Licence €650 EUR (US$ 850); Upgrade SysTune to SysTune Pro €300 EUR (US$ 395). Prices do not include VAT. Discounts cannot be accumulated.
Software can be purchased directly through the Online Store.
