Lewitt Audio has released a major firmware update for its Connect 6 audio interface, offering new features for content creators worldwide.
The Connect 6 audio interface was released in 2022 with content creators and streamers in mind. It supports seamless management of hardware input/output channels, DSP effects, virtual stereo channels, independent mix buses, and loopback.
The new firmware update adds a set of features all controllable from the interface’s accompanying Control Center software for greater flexibility in content creation and streaming workflows.
New features:
- Additional stereo software channel (4 now available).
- Additional loopback channel (3 now available).
- New Ducker feature to lower music when talking.
- Extended level fader range (12dB boost) for Aux, Mobile and Software channels.
- Mobile streaming mode sums Channels 1/2 to Input 1 for mobile app streaming.
- Flexible input routing overwrites Input 1/2 with any channel or mix.
- Channel mapping overview for control over routing.
Lewitt says that the update comes in response to requests from the Connect 6 user base. As part of the company’s commitment to improving products and user experience, the new firmware version expands an already extensive feature set.
