The USBQ is intended for professional recording, podcasting, commercial broadcast and other uses that require microphone-to-computer connection. The unit is not simply an adapter, but a true single-channel mic preamp complete with balanced XLR input mic level, switchable phantom power, bass and treble controls, and an adjustable headphone output level.
