In its rack-mount hardware version from 2009, elysia’s museq offers discrete analogue technology circuitry and constant class-A mode signal processing using single transistors. In its new plug-in release, museq retains the resonant high-pass and low-pass filters (switchable to high and low shelf types) and the Warm mode sound shaper from the harware unit, and adds an MS Mode (an integrated M/S matrix for mid-side processing), channel linking for more convenient stereo operation, and dedicated output level controllers for adapting settings to the available headroom. The elysia museq license also includes two plug-ins – one, a full Master version and the other a simplified Mix version for easy, speedy set-up.
The elysia museq is also part of Plugin Alliance’s newly-introduced 100% elysia bundle, which includes the elysia alpha compressor, elysia mpressor and elysia niveau filter software. Similarly, the 100% BX Bundle (featuring all 14 currently-available brainworx bx_series plug-ins) and 100% SPL Bundle (featuring all 11 currently-available plug-ins from SPL).
Available in 64- and 32-bit versions, elysia museq can be purchased and downloaded in various Mac and PC formats (AAX Native, AS, AU, RTAS, VST2.4, and VST 3) from the Plugin Alliance website for US$249.
