Work Pro has released the WEQ 231 of 31 + 31 band stereo equaliser with constant bandwidth (constant Q). The unit’s key feature is its feedback alert function.

The feedback alert allows real-time checking any signal peak in a specific frequency band. A resulting warning is indicated by an LED associated with the relevant frequency. The system also offers sensitivity adjustment control in order to target the appropriate frequency in the case of feedback detection in adjacent frequencies. In addition to this feature, WEQ 231 includes all facilities incorporated in a professional graphic EQ, including high-pass and low-pass filters and crossover frequency adjustment, as well as input gain level and bypass function. The unit has balanced inputs and outputs with various types of connector (XLR-3, quarter-inch jack and terminal block).

Its standard dimensions for 19-inch rack format (3U) allows rack mounting with other units commonly used in an installation, such as signal processors and amplifiers.
