The 4HM BOB/O-32 breakout box is designed to compliment the MA64 or any third-party device that provides up to eight AES/EBU output pairs on a single DB-25 connector typical of the Tascam format.
Each BOB/O-32 is fitted with a pair of DB25 input connectors and presents 16 pairs of AES/EBU outputs on XLR3M front panel connectors.
The BOB/I-32 interface might be described as a ‘break-in box’ rather than a breakout box. It provides an interface between 16 pairs of AES/EBU inputs on XLR3F front panel mounted connectors and two DB25 rear panel connectors also conforming to the Tascam AES format. Both units are 1U high.
Intended for interfacing to any appropriate input device, the BOB/I-32 promises a sturdy and reliable interface solution for broadcast.
