LEA Professional has added the 1504 model to its Cinema Digital Series of IoT-enabled smart amplifiers that was launched in 2024.
The new model features industry-first advancements in intelligent IT solutions, best-in-class DSP, and smart power management. The 4-channel CDS1504 model drives 1.5kW/channel into 2Ω, 4Ω and 8Ω, as well as 70Vrms and 100Vrms.
Each Cinema Digital Series model supports two or four channels, with output ranging from 350W to 1.5kW/channel. All models can integrate with the Dolby Cinema Processor CP950 and include AES67 primary and secondary inputs, analogue backup inputs, and the ability to accept AES67 feeds directly from a CP950 without requiring additional hardware.
LEA Professional’s smart amplifiers claim to be the most feature-rich amplifiers available, featuring onboard 96kHz DSP, LEA Cloud connectivity, WebUI, third-party API control, real-time load monitoring, Lo-Z/70V/100V selectable by channel, Smart Power Bridge technology, event and fault monitoring, high-efficiency power design, more than 3,000 loudspeaker tuning presets, and SharkWare amplifier control software.
