Klotz Cables’ RAMCAT5 system cable combines network connection, digital audio and power supply in a single line.
RAMCAT 5 (RCSB1D1P) is designed for use in audio networks and DMX lighting control, and is particularly suited to HiQnet cabling. It combines the high signal transmission quality of RC5SB network connection cable with a digital audio cable and integrated power supply cable.
The two RC5SB cables have solid conductors with diameter of 0.52mm and low signal attenuation, enabling them to be used for network connections of up to 100m. Their design features a cross-shaped stranding element, also making them suitable for outdoor use.
The audio element of the RAMCAT5 system cable offers characteristic impedance of 110Ω, ensuring that the cable is equally suitable for analogue/digital audio and control signals. The power cable has a conductor cross-section of 3 x 2.5mm2 for use up to 100m.
