Klotz ais is to fit its Greyhound, M1, M2 and M5 series, as well as its AES3K AES/EBU cables and DMX5K DMX cables, with proprietary XLR-style connectors.

The new connectors claim both innovative design and novel features, including a ribbed connector housing with ridges at an angle to the direction of pulling to provide perfect grip. The ribbed finish around the connector circumference is broken by two flat surfaces, offering space for laser-cut numbering or an engraved logo (for OEM customers). Klotz is the only manufacturer to offer this feature.

The plastic sleeve with ergonomic recessed grip is crafted from ultra-durable two-component material. The distance ring between the sleeve and connector is ribbed for flexibility and ‘give’, enabling cables of any diameter to be made up with the right torque for an optimum fit.
