The Aphex ProjectChannel is a 'streamlined' version of the company’s Channel processor for music recording.
The processing stages include a class-A microphone preamp, Aphex optical compressor, Aural Exciter processor and Big Bottom low-frequency processor. I/O comprises front-panel quarter-inch instrument input, with XLR mic input, XLR analogue output, quarter-inch analogue output and SPDIF RCA output on the rear panel. The front panel also offers LED metering and a button for selection of sample rates from 44.1kHz to 96kHz.
An SPDIF digital output and dBFS output meter enable digital connection to an audio interface for recording.
