Kling & Freitag has updated its Vida Beam Steering technology.

‘With the latest update, we have once again significantly improved Vida L,’ the company says. ‘In addition to the selection of the opening angle and the inclination of the beam, Vida supplements our J-Beam technology with an additional controller for setting the energy distribution within the beam itself.

‘This means that it is now possible to continuously adjust the level curve from front to back and thus to achieve excellent speech intelligibility and excellent sound from the first to the last row – and that with virtually the same level.’

The new technology is available for download from the Microsoft Store for all existing Vida L systems from firmware v1.5 for free.
